Hi, I’m Sofia. I work with early-stage founders and small leadership teams who are ready to move past the weight of carrying everything themselves. My mission is to help you build the clarity, accountability, and management systems required to free up your brain space and focus on high-impact growth.

Coaching rooted in high-impact leadership

I’m a leader and manager in farmed animal advocacy with 7+ years of experience. I’ve coached people through management and leadership challenges as both a manager and a mentor, and I now offer that support directly to founders and team leads.

I’m currently the Executive Director of Hive, a global community of 5000+ farmed animal advocates. I have started and grown Hive from scratch to 7 team members. Hive influenced over 180 people to land impactful opportunities for animals, and we have even spun out a new organisation, Sentient Futures. Hive raised over $500k in funding from Coefficient Giving, the Navigation Fund, EA Animal Welfare Fund and others.

 

I’ve held management roles at Animal Advocacy Careers and Veganuary. I’ve also supported a small number of charities through project management and operations consulting, including Observatorio de Bienestar Animal and We Animals Media.

My style is kind, direct, and practical. As a manager, I tend to give people a lot of autonomy while staying clear on expectations and accountability. I also have extensive experience leading international teams, and I’m thoughtful about cultural differences and what it takes to build trust across contexts.

The goal isn’t “perfect leadership.” It’s building a team that works.
